Okay, to make up for the last update being so long, and because I already wrote one really long update last night only to have it mysteriously deleted, this one will be short(ish) and to the point. I've worked one day this entire week. This was a blessing and a curse. I get bored easily. Quick update on the past week.
Last Saturday I worked at a book signing in Beverly Hills. It was for the author of The Black Dhalia. In attendance, among other people, were Gary Schandling and Nicole Kidman. I KNOW! I love Nicole Kidman, save for all the press. It was a small party so I was around her for a good two hours. To say the least it was one of the better events I've worked so far. Sunday I went to church then went over to Adam's with Brian where we had a lengthy chat and prayer time. It was very encouraging and uplifting, we're going to try to do it once a week when we can all get together. That night I went to Jason's improv show, in which there was only one audience member besides Brian and myself. But the troupe had a great time and a very funny show. Afterwards we all (the troupe and tiny audience) went to the Thai restraunt next door.

Monday I did a whole lot of nothing until that evening when Jason, Zac, Brian, Lauren and I all carved more pumkins to put on our porch for Trick or Treaters to know we're in business on Holloween. We did this and had Marie Calanders pumkin pie.
Tuesday... Oh man Tuesday. I woke up, looked at my mess of a room and decided it was now or never. I got up, cleaned my room, opened my shelf boxes and mirror packages, put everthing up and finally finished my room! (There are before and after videos below for your viewing edification.) But that's not all! After that I did some shopping, came back and did the dishes (put away clean and placed the dirty in the machine). Then I scrubbed the kitchen floor which tends to get a little dirty and sticky after a while. Then I scrubbed the bathtub, toilete and sink. We all take turns doing these things, but I felt I needed to do them all at once while I was possessed so. I feel useless if I'm not working, hanging out with people or doing anything remotely productive. After all that cleaning, Adam, Brian, Lauren, Ashley, Megan and Nina came over to pass out candy to Trick or Treaters. Everytime they knocked on the door we'd all yell and overwhelm the kids as we opened the door. I don't think I even heard a "trick or treat" exclaimed the entire night over our yelling. It was awesome. After our last visiter to the door, we played poker and watched Shaun of the Dead. I love that movie.

Wednesday I catered a charity at the Wiltern Theater. Thursday I went over to Brian's where his roomate Marc De Lagarza made a Mexican salad and beans for some people. Then we watched Lauren on Ugly Betty and played some Pictionary and Taboo. It was a really fun night. Yesterday I did NOTHING and it sucked. Today Zac, Jason, Brian and a couple of Zac's friends and I played some frisbee in the park just down the street. Then Brian and I picked up Lauren and we went to see Jars of Clay on Alumni Park at Pepperdine. Melissa was there too. And if you have not noticed yet, we never take a serious picture.

It was a good concert, they played mostly new stuff that I had not heard yet and it was weird. I was expecting to sing along to everything. But I bought a shirt, a jacket, a hat and their new CD. I needed at jacket and some new clothes, so it wasn't entirely splurging. So, it's been a pretty good week. I just hope I work a bit next week, and then more the next. Holiday season should pickup, so I'm not worried at all. God has been very providing. Oh yeah! Mom, Ricky and Nate have all told me that they've been seeing Brian A LOT in the Big Lots commercials. That's awesome, but everyone should also go to elfthevote.com and play around for a bit. Brian is all over it! The videos are a lot of fun and almost entirely improvised. And be sure to vote for Brian as your favorite elf!
So this wasn't as short as I thought it would be, but still shorter than the first time I wrote it last night. Without further ado, I give you... My Room: Before and After
BEFORE

And I'm not sure what happened, but the audio got a bit un-synced on the before video, sorry about that.

Hey, so I can't load either of your videos! I clicked on them and it took me to YouTube, but I couldn't view them because I'm not your friend or something weird...

I'm sad the other post got deleted! Nate and I really enjoyed reading it, although this new one is awesome as well because it has sooo many pictures!

And Brian...FREAKIN' HILARIOUS. Love his Big Lots commercial! No worries, we're voiting for him. Missed seeing Lauren on Ugly Betty, though, and I'm bummed.

Before I jump into a short Blogspot tutorial, do one thing for the sake of your mom. Go to Settings and Comments and Who Can Comment? and select anyone. Otherwise, folks have to create a blog to comment.

Change your links by going to Template and scroll down in the window contained inside that page. At nearly the bottom you'll see "MainOrArchivePage". On the line below that, you'll see several different links. Here's what yours looks like on my template: href="http://StephenBanks.blogspot.com/">Bro.In.Law, Steve

It's all on one line, though. So what you do is copy and paste this. For Nate and I, you highlight StephenBanks and type in NateandRobbiesue. Highlight Bro.in.law Steve and write in Nate and Robin, or whatever. If you want me to start you out, you can send me your pass word and name and I'll make some changes.

Gosh this comment is long...

Here I am to add yet another comment...

I'm your stalker.

It would be ABSOLUTLY fantastic if you were able to come up for the move! Nate and I are feeling terrible for you, being so far away while your parents move away from a place so intrinsically tied to your childhood...And I'm not trying to make you sad or anything, although I am trying to manipulate you into making the long haul back up here.

It's a beautiful house, eh? We're so happy for them:)

I don't know how, but somehow I came across your blog! I'm glad though, because the other day someone asked me about you and I had no idea. How's cali treating you? Eric and I are trying to move down to San Luis Obispo in the next few months.... the rain is really getting to me! I want to be by palm trees and the beach. I'm glad to hear that your're doing well. I haven't seen your parents since Central closed (which really sucked.) Is your car holding up?
